Things you don't know about me

I took this from Deb at Abiding.

  1. While playing badmitton (co-ed P.E.) in High School, my gym top snapped off and left my boobies showing...because of this incident, my partner and I came in second place instead of first.
  2. I used to love riding all the amusement park rides, the more extreme, the I get "sick" just by looking at them.
  3. My father was musically talented and therefore tried to teach me how to sing, play the guitar, trumpet, clarinet, accordeon, violin, cello, piano, and well as how to dance. Unfortunately, the only thing I remember is how to hold the instrument correctly and where to place my fingers and or arm. As for the dancing...well, I still move too much.
  4. If you happen to look in our refrigerator, you'll find that everything is in "order" and that all is facing the same way... My closet (clothes) is in order from season, color and style. Anal? Obsessive? Compulsive? Neurotic? Shopping?! I need to go in "order"- I can NOT zigzag through a store!! Oh, and I need to "touch" when shopping or browsing...
  5. When asked as a child what I wanted to do when I grew up my responses were:
  • be a mommy (It wasn't meant to be...)
  • be a nun (I still yearn the spiritual aspect)
  • be a teacher (I've been teaching for 27 years!)

I am NOT tagging anyone, but just like Deb, if you would like to share a secret, please do so...
Tell us your little secret in the comment section.

That's pretty cute!

Thanks for dropping by my friend.

I have a friend who says he has CDO...

It's like OCD (Obssesive Compulsive Disorder) but the letters are in alphabetical order like the should be!

Merry CHRISTmas!

Musical Talent: Handbells! I tried the tuba and the clarinet back in Junior High, but that ended in disaster.

My mental illnesses: Seasonal depression (mostly just November), and Multiple Personality Disorder (although I'm in a state of integration almost 100% of the time now).

Worst Sports Moment: None. I totally sucked at sports, so I was never on any teams.

Career I Got Passed Over On: the Navy (they got spooked by my MPD diagnosis), and the Priesthood (same reason).

I'm glad you got to teach! I've always had a lot of respect for anyone who takes on such a dangerous career.

I used to love amsusement parks, too, but now, like you... ugh. Let's see....what can I tell you? I was a HUGE Nancy Drew fan when I was a kid... and I still have my Nancy Stash whenever I need to reread one in secret!
