it's the Day of the Teacher!
To tell you the truth...
I truly (still) love my profession.
It's not for everyone, though,
there's no money, or recognition,
except for the joy that you see in your students;
and their thirst for learning.
In one year, the child grows so much!!
Not only physically, but also emotionally as well as academically-
Life never ceases to amaze me!

My daughter speaks very highly of her teacher so I am sure that in your class there are at least a few kids that think very highly of you.
The interesting thing is that the very best teacher I ever had, and the very worst teacher I ever had both taught the same subject: English literature.
But my best teacher is the one who inspired me to start playing around with creative writing. I'm really glad for that, since it's a hobby I've enjoyed ever since.
