This past month has been BUSY!!
The first month of school is always chaotic, and this year was no different.
However, "life" is calming down a bit...which is good news!
My sister's femur is healing...hallelujah!! Her ortho dr. want,s her to start using her toes!! Hopefully, in a few more weeks, she'll be able to put 40% -50% of her weight on the leg...god, I hope so!
I've come to the realisation that I am my "brother's keeper"- well, in this case, my "sister's keeper"... Growing up, my mom would tell both my sister and I to get along with each other, and to take care of one another- that it was just the two of us! "Life"!! Many years later, my sister and I are friends...and I am taking care of her- out of love for her. My mom, I'm sure, is happy that her words did not fall on deaf ears.
*My mom's 1st year anniversary was yesterday...
**my sister feels that i should've gone into nursing, and not teaching...funny thing is that she's not only one who has said this, though. i'll post on this later.

You would have made a good nurse too since you're intelligent and compassionate.
I'm glad that your sister is on the mend. You take care of yourself too! :)
Nursing and teaching both need compassion. I figure you have it in you to be either!
