Torture!

I'm going to Physical Therapy twice a week and it is PAINFUL!! Physical Therapy is TORTURE!! It seems that my muscles have frozen due to lack of "use"... Ahhh! We're still only doing "passive" movements- one example is, I help my arm up (with my other arm) as high as it can go. I wish this "recuperation" would go faster.

I'm now working "full time"... At the end of the day, I am tired and "sore", as to be expected. Also, I am no longer taking "pain" meds! Yay!! Well, let me be more precise, I now take only Tylenol (not Vicodin) to help with the "soreness" and or pain.

Today will be a long day for me. We have "Back to School Night" tonight. I'll be staying at school instead of going home to rest, hopefully, all will go well with my "shoulder". (I'm planning on laying on an exercise mat and resting for a while.)

I hope that my parents attend tonight's meeting, it's so very important!! Besides getting to know what goes on at school, they need to also know what their child's educational curriculum is!

Have you considered accupuncture to deal with the pain?

As you know, I just started treatment and I am noticing some changes. I was agnostic on the whole process, but I am starting to think that there is something to this.

I have heard that accupuncture is often used to deal with pain and speed healing from injury or surgery.

I wish you a speedy recovery nonetheless.

As my mom used to say... "Sana, sana, colita de rana..." :-)
