We're in the midst of "Testing"...
Third graders take a test every day (in the morning) for 2 weeks!
To say the least-
The children are stressed!!
So what do the children do to become de-stressed?
Have playground fights!

a lot of my students' behavior is awful,
and all due to "stress"...
can't blame them!

I remeber this goofy week-long test we all had to take in 8th grade. It was supposed to assess our aptitude for various professions. So my top three, according to this test, were: parish priest (I'm a wiccan), psychologist (I have a dissociative disorder), and a cook (ur... I set things on fire in the kitchen).

Well...have a Blessed Beltain!

We haven't started testing but the windy weather is kicking the playground behavior into high gear. One of my students was suspended yesterday for putting another student in a choke hold. Today, one was sent home for tackling and "tickling" a girl's chest. Two other boys in the class next door pulled their shirts up to show their chests and said some very foul comments. AY!
