Weekend!

First and foremost, I want to thank you for your prayers, good thoughts and words of encouragement. These past two weeks have been difficult, but at the same time they've been joyful- we've been celebrating both Evelyn's and Shannon's life, as well as our own personal blessings.

As for this weekend...my husband is attending some cycling event out in Los Angeles. Last year he said that this "World Cycling Event" was the first ever to be out in California, and how could he not attend since who knew where it would take place next year! Ha! This year, the "World Cycling Event" is again in Los Angeles!! And yes, he's having a wonderful time among bicycles and other cyclists.

So what will I be doing this weekend? I will be spending my time with my mother and sister...shopping.

My sister did the AIDs ride a couple of years ago. She wasn't a cyclist when she started training for it, so it was quite an accomplishment.

It was an amazing experience for her and I was happy to support her (and follow her progress).

Best wishes to your b-in-l.

I think it great "Jack" is doing the ride. I hear it is cruelling. Your husband is really inspiring him.

Wish you well.
